Blink is a San Francisco-based interdisciplinary design studio specializing in award-winning print media for the publishing, fashion, music, and wine industries. Established in 1992 by Scott Idleman, Blink is a culmination of several years experience working at branding studios, magazines and various corporate marketing departments in both New York and San Francisco. These experiences helped to form an aesthetic that is both original in its conception, yet accessible to the intended audience. Since forming Blink, Scott has had the opportunity to wear all hats in his endeavors, from designer to art director to, more recently, digital illustrator and photographer.
After graduation from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1986, Scott moved to New York where he was a designer/art director for Egg Magazine, Doublespace, Prescriptives, PolyGram Records, and Arnell Associates. After relocating to San Francisco in 1991, he formed Blink a year later in order to expand his clientele to include record companies and book publishers along with consulting work with various fashion brands and advertising agencies.
